Meet Lateasha Gaither-Davis

Therapeutic Focus, the little clinic with a big heart, is owned and operated by LaTeasha. As a young child growing up in West Memphis, Arkansas, LaTeasha experienced a speech delay and resources were scarce in the area. However, she was able to receive speech therapy.

Through hard work and determination, her speech improved over time. As LaTeasha continued through Junior & Senior High School, this experience stuck with her and she discovered her passion for helping others with a similar diagnosis. So, it was no surprise that she set her sights on attending college at the University of Central Arkansas to obtain a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Health Sciences & Occupational Therapy.

Once her schooling was completed she chose to work as an Occupational Therapist in San Diego, California and Laredo, Texas. Within a few years of working in nursing homes, hospitals, mental health settings, sports clinics and an outpatient pediatric clinic; she soon heard the call of her hometown beckoning and decided to return home to Crittenden County so she could be a resource for kids with special needs.

LaTeasha and Leo (the lion mascot) chose to open an outpatient pediatric therapy clinic in Crittenden County. Their goal is to make a difference in the Crittenden County community by providing children with cognitive and developmental deficits with safe, ethical, individualized treatment services to prepare them to thrive within society. LaTeasha provides the parents and loved ones of disabled children with client-centered training, education, and community resources to care for their children while adding to their quality of life and increasing their occupational abilities.
